“Messengers of Peace” perform 639 million service hours around the world

Riyadh, 24 Safar, 1437,December 06, 2015, SPA — The Secretary General of World Scout Organization Scott Terre announced that the number of hours of work carried out by the World Scout Project “Messengers of Peace”, launched from in 2011 from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to its vision and with the participation of various countries of the world amounted to more than 639 million service-hours , which have contributed to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals and the current objectives of the sustainable development
The “Messengers of Peace” project was launched in September 2011 from the Second World Peace Camp hosted by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the presence of King of Sweden and Honorary President of World Scout Financing Fund Carl Gustaf.
