Palestinian Foreign Ministry Condemns Arbitrary Israeli Practices in Jerusalem, Zone C

Ramallah, – Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing extremist within the framework of implementing a policy of occupation and Judaization, continues its war against the Palestinian presence in the occupied Zone C in East Jerusalem, including the Jordan Valley.

The ministry said in a statement on Thursday that the Israeli occupation authorities continue demolishing Palestinian homes as well as displacing and expelling Palestinian citizens by force to bring more Jewish settlers, in an effort to change the demographic nature in those areas for the benefit of Jewish settlers.

The ministry condemned in the strongest terms Israeli plans to demolish 8 residential buildings in the town of Issawiyya in occupied Jerusalem, adjacent to the bypass road leading to the settlement of Maale Adumim, which comprise 26 apartments, home to about 250 residents.

It also condemned IOA’s notices addressed recently to 14 Palestinian families in the Jordan Valley, to vacate their homes and lands, under the pretext of military exercises.
