Jordan’s GDP Grows 1.8% in Q3 of 2016

Amman, Jordan’s GDP recorded third-quarter growth of 1.8%, official data showed today.

The country’s department of statistics said in a report today that all sectors recorded positive growth on a quarterly and annual basis.

The biggest growth was in the electricity and water, which was 6.3% higher year-over-year. The financial and insurance sector was second highest with 4.2%. Transportation and the agricultural sectors recorded growth of 3% and 2.9% respectively.
