Eleven people were killed and 15 others injured as a result of Israeli raids on the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the successive Israeli raids on the town of Sahmar in the western Bekaa Valley led, in an initial toll, to the death of 11 people and the injury of 15 others.
Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 2023, but since the end of last September, the Israeli entity has increased the pace of aerial and artillery bombardment in an unprecedented manner, and expanded the scope of its targeting to extend to the capital, Beirut, killing and injuring thousands of Lebanese, in addition to forcing more than a million people to flee their homes.
