Islamic Relief Organization executes a project for farmers in Sudan

Jeddah, 23 Rabi’I,1437 AH, 03 January,2016 , SPA — The International Islamic Relief Organization of Muslim World League has executed a new project to develop the capabilities of displaced people and some farmers in Darfur region in western Sudan in the agricultural fields through providing a number of training and qualifying opportunities.
The Organization’s Secretary General, Ihsan bin Saleh Tayib explained that these training opportunities have benefitted 1,360 farmers, among them 1,000 in the camp of Al-Sereef and 360 farmers in the village of Tamisco.

Agriculture Ministry bans import of incubating eggs and chicks from France

Riyadh , Rabi’I 23, 1437, January 03, 2016, SPA — The Ministry of Agriculture has temporally banned the importing of incubating eggs and chicks from Landes and Dordogne districts in Republic France due to the bird flu disease.

The ban’s decision came according to the warning bulletin reported by International Organization for Animal Health included infections of bird flu H5N1, H5N2, and H5N9 in the two districts in France

Saudi-Jordanian Business Council to meet in Jordan

Riyadh, 23 Rabi’I, 1437,January 03, 2016, SPA –A delegation of Joint Saudi-Jordanian Business Council of Saudi Chambers Council, headed by Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Oudeh, will visit the Jordanian capital Amman on January 5 -7 , 2016 to discuss with its counterpart from the Jordanian side opportunities of trade and investment cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The head of Joint Saudi-Jordanian Business Council Al-Oudeh said in a statement today that the visit comes in conjunction with the meetings of the 15th session of Joint Saudi-Jordanian Committee, pointing out that the program includes a meeting with Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah, the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan.
