Saudi Ambassador to Australia holds a reception party in honor of new Australian Minister of Trade and Investment

Canberra, 22 Jumada I,1437 AH, 02 March,2016 , SPA — Saudi Ambassador to Australia Nabil bin Mohammed Al Saleh hosted a dinner banquet at his residence in Canberra last night in honor of new Australian Minister of Trade and Investment Steven Ciobo in the presence of ambassadors of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States accredited to Australia.
During the banquet, they exchanged cordial talks, congratulated the Australian Minister on his new post and reviewed trade relations and investment between Australia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC states as well as the Middle East in general.
Ambassador Al Saleh delivered speech in which he stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation to improve the size of investment and trade exchange and its development between the two countries.
For his part, the Australian minister also delivered a speech in which he praised the efforts being made by Ambassador Al Saleh in promoting relations between the two countries, pointing to his country’s interest in developing trade relations, benefiting from the opportunities and advantages of setting up joint commercial and industrial projects and enhancing the volume of trade and investment exchanges in all fields.
The volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Australia reached nearly 2,496 billion Australian dollars during 2015.
