US Assistant Secretary of Commerce visits AlSharqia Chamber in Eastern Region

Dammam, Jumada II 15, 1437, March 24, 2016, SPA — The United States Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Director General of US Commerce Services Arun Kumar has recently visited AlSharqia Chamber accompanied by US Consul General in Dhahran Michael Hankey and a number of officials and businessmen in the Eastern Region to discuss and enhance aspects of cooperation and Saudi-US trade relations.
The Chairman of Board of Directors of AlSharqia chamber Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Ataishan said that US Companies have a strong and significant presence in the Saudi market and US products have a distinguished reputation, emphasizing the strength of the Saudi economy witnessing high leaps, thanks to the wise policy and incentives offered by the Kingdom for local and foreign investors.
For his part, the US Assistant Secretary of Commerce Arun Kumar said, ”The United States of America is considered the key trading partner of the Kingdom, noting that bilateral trade exchanges between the two countries have witnessed a steady progress in recent years”.
Kumar added that the United States is known for many companies with a global reputation, and it has a broad base of small and medium-sized companies.
