Sheikh Al-Sudais meets delegation of guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for performing Umrah

Makkah, Jumada II 23, 1437, April 01, 2016, SPA — General President of Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque Affairs, sheik Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sudais met here on Thursday with a delegation of guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for performing Umrah.

The delegation consists of a number of directors of universities, Islamic centers, imams, preachers and muftis from 10 African countries.

During the meeting, the delegation thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his great attention given to the Two Holy Mosques.

WASHINGTON, Jumada II 23, 1437, April 01, 2016, SPA — U.S. President Barack Obama said he discussed with French President Francois Hollande at a meeting on Thursday efforts to deepen U.S.-French cooperation on counterterrorism.

Obama, who met with Hollande on the sidelines of a nuclear security summit, said the two leaders also discussed the possibility of a new government being formed in Libya and how to fortify the North African country against Daash terrorist organization.

SAO PAULO, Jumada II 23, 1437, April 01, 2016, SPA — Thousands of Brazilians in 17 states and the nation’s capital took to the streets in defense of beleaguered President Dilma Rousseff on Thursday, many carrying banners that said “there will not be a coup”, local television showed, according to Reuters.

Rousseff could lose power as soon as May if the lower house of Congress approves her impeachment. She has pledged to fight the charges brought by the opposition of irregularities in the government budget designed to favor her reelection in 2014.
