Liverpool end Chelsea's unbeaten start to move into top four

London, Dhu-AlHijjah 16, 1437, Sep 17, 2016, SPA — Liverpool ended Chelsea’s unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge on Friday to move into the top four
in the Premier League, according to dpa.
Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson scored the vital goals and though Diego Costa pulled one back, Liverpool hung on to claim all three points.
The result moved them to fourth place, level on points with Chelsea and Everton, two points behind leaders Manchester City.
Lovren gave Liverpool the early lead, firing home Philippe Coutinho’s free kick and Henderson doubled their lead with a stunning strike from all of 30 yards nine minutes from half-time.
Liverpool were dominant and looked comfortable until Chelsea pulled one back as Diego Costa scored with his first shot of the evening.
But Juergen Klopp’s side held on to claim their third victory of the season.
