Riyadh, – The undersecretaries and heads of consumer protection bodies in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states held their 8th meeting in Riyadh today.
The meeting discussed a number of topics related to consumer protection, including the GCC consumer protection law issued in the 36th summit of the Supreme Council that was held in Riyadh in December 2015.
The meeting also considered the observations of the member states on the draft executive regulations of the unified law for the consumer protection in the GCC countries for discussion and submission to the GCC ministers of commerce for approval at their next meeting. (QNA)
