Ninety injured Yemenis arrive New Delhi for medical treatment at the expense of UAE.

A group of 90 injured Yemenis arrived in New Delhi on Friday for medical treatment, at the expense of the United Arab Emirates, UAE.

This humanitarian medical gesture is part of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and is under the supervision of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation.

The Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation is covering all the treatment costs, as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to ease the suffering of the Yemeni people and to stand with them in their difficult times.

UAE diplomats in India welcomed the injured and their companions and finalised their arrival procedures.

The Foundation earlier covered the bill for the treatment of the 90 Yemenis in Indian hospitals, who sustained their injuries during attacks by the Houthi militias. It also provides for the immediate means of transporting the wounded to approved hospitals.

The State of Qatar Strongly Condemns Turku Incident in Finland

The State of Qatar strongly condemned Saturday the incident which killed two people and wounded eight others on Friday in the city of Turku in the Republic of Finland.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement today the solidarity of the State of Qatar with Finland in all measures taken to maintain its security and stability.

The statement reiterated Qatar’s firm stance on the rejection of violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The Foreign Ministry expressed its condolences to the victims and the Government of Finland and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.

President, VP, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed sends condolences to King of Spain for victims of terrorist attack in Barcelona.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to Felipe VI, King of Spain, for the victims of the terrorist attack that took place in Barcelona on Thursday, which killed and injured many innocent people.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa reiterated the UAE’s firm stance to reject terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and its call to enhance international co-operation to eradicate this dangerous phenomenon, which poses a threat to global security and stability.

Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent cables of condolence to Mariano Rajoy, Prime Minister of Spain.
