EMIR OF KUWAIT HONORS HUKOOMI ON INFORMATICS AWARD
HH the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah honored Qatar Official e-Government Portal � Hukoomi for winning 2017 His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award, among other winners, on the Government Sector category, at a ceremony organized at Bayan Palace in the capital Kuwait.
HE Minister of Transport and Communications, Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir of Kuwait for his patronage and continuing encouragement to the awards.
Currently, after launching Hukoomi Phase 3, the portal is rich with information about at least 1380 digital services. Some 690 of them can be accessed and executed by companies, citizens, residents and visitors. They cover multiple sectors such as health, education, and business.
The user-friendly portal has enhanced search functions and can also be accessed by people with disabilities. It also includes a special page for migrant workers in five languages. Hukoomi is also available on mobile devices with the unique user experience.
