CABINET TO TAKE NECESSARY MEASURES TO REGULATE ENTRY, EXIT OF EXPATRIATES

HE the Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, chaired the Cabinet meeting yesterday morning at the Amiri Diwan.

The Cabinet then took the necessary measures to issue the following draft laws, after reviewing the recommendations of the Advisory Council:

1 – A draft law amending some provisions of Law No.21 for the year 2015 regulating the entry and exit of expatriates and their residence in the country.

2 – A draft law amending some provisions of Law No.1 of 2016 on the organization of sports clubs.

3 – A draft law on the promotion of competitiveness of national products and the control of harmful practices in international trade.

4 – A draft law on Road Transport of Hazardous Substances.

5 -A draft law on regulating land transport.

The Cabinet then approved a draft decision to amend the regulation of some units of which the Ministry of Transport and Communications consists and define its specialization.

The Cabinet further approved the suggestion proposed by the Ministry of Transport and Communications on the National Program to Facilitate Air Transport.
