HIA LAUNCHES SERVICE FACILITATING MOVEMENT OF PASSENGERS WITH AUTISM

Hamad International Airport (HIA) has launched a service aimed at facilitating the movement of passengers with autism and those accompanying them, including those at the arrival or departure halls.

The first phase includes facilitating the travel of passengers with autism, those accompanying them and their family members, by contacting a specialized team from Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) on the hotline 33749061 to coordinate the service 48 before the flight.

In case of postponing or canceling the reservation, a family member has to notify the specialized team in order to reschedule the timetable of the assigned employees so as to provide the service at the right time. The airline employees should also be notified about the case before taking off from the country of origin and send a confirmation to QAS in Doha via the hotline in order to assign a trained employee upon arrival.
