‫حكومة سانت كيتس ونيفيس تعيد بناء 900 منزل عن طريق صندوق إغاثة ضحايا الإعصار

لندن، 9 سبتمبر 2018/PRNewswire/– أعلنت حكومة سانت كيتس ونيفيس “St Kitts and Nevis’” أن 900 أسرة قد استفادت من المساعدات المقدمة من خلال صندوق إغاثة ضحايا الإعصار- أحد  أفكار رئيس الوزراء تيموثي هاريس،حيث تلقى الصندوق حتى الآن مبالغ نقدية بقيمة 11.5 مليون دولار لمساعدة المتضررين من إعصار إيرما وماريا لاعادة بناء منازلهم.

يتم تمويل مثل هذه الصناديق عن طريق برنامج الحصول على الجنسيةعن طريق الاستثمار (CBI) والذييحظى بشعبية كبيرة – وهو مفهوم قدمته سانت كيتس ونيفيس إلى العالم في عام 1984؛ حيث يمكن للمستثمرين الحصول على جنسية هذه الدولة ذات الجزيرتين المتصلتين مقابل مساهمة كبيرة في اقتصاد البلاد. وحتى وقت قريب، كان أحد هذه المسارات بمثابة استثمار في صندوق الإغاثة الخاص بالإعصار، وهي مبادرة استغرقت ستة أشهر أثبتت شعبيتها بشكل كبير بين المستثمرين الراغبين في دعم البلاد خلال موسم الأعاصير المليء بالتحديات.

Danah Al Mubarak finishes seventh in World Shooting Championship

Changwon, Qatar’s Danah Al-Mubarak took the seventh place in the 52nd World Shooting Championship, currently being held in the Korean city of Changwon, from August 31 to September 15, with participation of 81 athletes from various countries, including the United States, Ukraine, Russia and Germany, Korea, Singapore, the Czech Republic, India, Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Danah qualified to the finals of the World Shooting Championship and secured her place among the top eight athletes in the final round.

Ali Mohammed Al-Kuwari, President of Qatar Shooting and Archery Association (QSAA) confirmed that Qatar’s participation in the World Championship was a part of the preparation for qualifications to the upcoming Olympics in Japan.

UAE, Bangladesh discuss naval cooperation.

UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Saed Mohammed Al Muhairi recently met with Chief of Naval Staff of Bangladesh Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed.

During the meeting, which was held at the chief’s office in Bangladesh, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest and ways of enhancing cooperation for the benefit of both countries.

Germany is one of Qatar’s largest trading partners, with a volume of trade between the two countries reaching nearly 1.9 billion Euros in recent years. Over the years, Qatar has invested in several key industries in the German market, including the automotive, information technology and banking sector, which has lead to more than of 25 billion Euros worth of Qatari investments in Germany.

Qatar Airways currently operates 35 weekly flights between Doha and Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin. Two daily flights from Frankfurt and Munich, and one daily flight from Berlin. By November, all three routes will be operated by a Boeing B777 aircraft.

In July, the award-winning airline became FC Bayern Munchen’s Official Airline Partner under a new long-term sponsorship agreement. The deal between Qatar Airways and FC Bayern Munchen will see the airline’s signature logo on the jersey sleeves of the Deutsche Bundesliga champions, further strengthening the already strong ties between the airline and Germany.

Last month the airline flew the FC Bayern Munchen football team to the U.S. for the 2018 Audi Summer Tour. The renowned German team was transported on board the world’s most technologically-advanced passenger aircraft, the Airbus A350-1000, marking the first time the aircraft touched down in the United States.

Qatar Airways is the global launch customer for the state-of-the-art A350-1000 aircraft, the latest member of the Airbus wide-body aircraft portfolio. Beginning commercial operations in February 2018, the A350-1000 offers a total of 327 seats across two cabins, with 46 award-winning Qsuite Business Class seats and 281 18-inch extra wide Economy Class seats. The aircraft offers enhanced levels of passenger comfort, thanks to the lowest twin-engine noise level of any aircraft, advanced air conditioning technology and full LED mood lighting.
