The Industrial Development Department (IDD) will start providing its services to public and clients from today at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry headquarters in Lusail City. This comes after the department joined the ministry in accordance with Amiri Decision No. 68 of 2018, amending some provisions of Amiri Decision No. 16 of 2014 setting the competencies of the ministries, according to a statement. Under the Amiri Decree, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry supervises commercial and industrial activities in the country.
In this connection, the ministry organized a welcome meeting for industrial sector employees, aiming to integrate and adapt them to the work environment and introducing them to the ministry’s areas of responsibility and organizational structure.
