ABOVE records third win for Qatar Racing Ltd

In the colours of Qatar Racing Ltd., ABOVE continued his near perfect run of form when romping home in the Nursery Handicap at Wolverhampton on Friday 16 August 2019, for trainer Archie Watson. Only three horses lined up in this seven-furlong race for two-year-olds. All eyes were on ABOVE, who won by six lengths comfortably, with jockey Oisin Murphy letting him ease down to finish. The P K Siu-owned and Ed Walker-trained DARK SILVER was the runner-up and was ridden by Luke Morris. The Clarendon Thoroughbred Racing-owned and James Bethell-trained Rich Belief was third and was ridden by Robert Winston.

ABOVE, who is by ANJAAL, has now won three of his four career starts for Qatar Racing Ltd. He holds multiple Group entries, including an entry in the Gimcrack Stakes (Gr2) at York and the Futurity Stakes (Gr2) at the Curragh on 23 August. He was bought at the Arqana Breeze Up in May.
