Bahrain’s openness on the world stressed

Ufa, President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa participated today in the periodic meeting of the Russia-Islamic World Group of Strategic Vision which is held in Ufa city, in Bashkortostan, Russia, under the presidency of President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the group chairman, and Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.

The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs President gave a speech in which he welcomed the members and conveyed to them the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his best wishes of every success to the meeting. He described the meeting as a main platform for strategy makers and an opportunity to learn about the characteristics of the group member states. He pointed out keenness of all to boost strategic relations between Russia and the Islamic World to serve the region and the whole world. He also stressed solid ties binding Bahrain and Russia, underlining Russia’s growing international role and its political importance.
