Manama, The Tender Board, the independent regulator of Bahrain Government procurement activities, today opened 84 bids to 11 tenders for five purchasing authorities.
The Committee opened seven tenders for the Ministry of Health funded by the Saudi Fund for Development. The first tender for the medical equipment for kidney dialysis center in Riffa Area received 11 bids.
The second tender regarding the supply and installation of pcs, computer peripherals, and networking components for the long stay care center in Muharraq received nine bids.
As for the third tender, it was regarding the supply of furniture to long stay care center in Muharraq. Seven bids were received for this tender.
As for the fourth tender, it was regarding the supply, installation and commissioning of laundry equipment for long stay care center at Muharraq. Five bids were received for this tender.
Meanwhile, the fifth tender, regarding supply and installation of kitchen equipment, steam boiler & r.o. plant at long stay care centre in Muharraq, received nine bids.
Also, eight bids were received for supply hospital textile and linen materials for long stay care centre in Muharraq.
As for the seventh tender, it was for supply and installation of 112 types of medical equipment and devices, covering medical, laboratory, physiotherapy, radiology and imaging devices to equip for the new Long Stay Care Centre – Muharraq. 12 bids were received for this tender
The committee also opened 14 bids for the Ministry of Education, for providing security guards for ministry of education – 4 years.
The opening process witnessed the opening of a tender for the Central Stores Directorate warehouses of the Electricity and Water Authority regarding the purchase of concentrator data. One tender was received for this tender.
Moreover, the committee opened a tender for the Ministry of Labour and Social Development FOR Providing (1) contract specialist and (1) purchasing specialist. Four bids were received for this tender.
Finally, the committee opened a tender for Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, for pre-qualification for the provision of cleaning services to the three prestigious buildings of the authority. Four bids were received for this tender.
Four bids were received for the second tender regarding Miscellaneous Civil Maintenance Works.
The tender process was attended by representatives of the bidding companies and companies participating in the tenders. In line with the Tender Board’s guidelines on competitiveness and fairness, the bids will be assessed on all relevant technical and financial criteria before being awarded to the best fit candidate.
