أعرب تشن تشوان دونغ، السفير الصيني لدى المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، في خطابه في المؤتمر أنه منذ إقامة العلاقات الدبلوماسية في عام 1977، استمرت العلاقات بين الصين والأردن في التطور بشكل صحي ومستقر، مع تبادلات نشطة على جميع المستويات وفي مختلف المجالات. أصبحت الصين ثالث أكبر شريك تجاري وثاني أكبر مصدر للواردات للأردن. وفي المستقبل، يجب على الجانبين ترسيخ الثقة السياسية المتبادلة وتقوية الاتصالات الاستراتيجية، وتسليط الضوء على المزايا التكميلية لتعزيز المنفعة المتبادلة والفوز المشترك، وتقوية التبادلات الثقافية وتعزيز تفاهم الشعبين، وتوسيع منصات التعاون وبناء رابطة المصير المشترك بين الصين والدول العربية.

وقدم نائب رئيس المجموعة الصينية للاتصالات الدولية (CICG) ليو دا وي ونائب المدير العام للمؤسسة الوطنية الصينية للتنمية والاستثمار (SDIC) تشونغ قوه دونغ معا، الكتاب ((حلم مشترك)) لممثلي شباب الصين والدول العربية. وقدم السفير حسام الحسيني ورئيس جامعة الدراسات الأجنبية ببكين يانغ دان، الكتاب ((البحث في الثقافة والتعليم الأردني)) لشباب البلدين.

استضافت هذا النشاط المجموعة الصينية للاتصالات الدولية (CICG) وجامعة الدراسات الأجنبية ببكين، ونظمته شركة شيويفانغ وكلية اللغة العربية بجامعة الدراسات الأجنبية ببكين، وقدمت شركة الاستثمار في التعدين دعما له. وشارك ما مجموعه 100 شخصًا في النشاط.

UAE condemns Houthis’ attempted attack on Abha Airport with bomb-laden drone

The United Arab Emirates has strongly denounced the terrorist Houthi militias’ systematic attempts to attack Abha Airport in Saudi Arabia with a bomb-laden drone, intercepted by the Coalition Forces.

In a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) today, the UAE affirmed that targeting the airport is “a dangerous escalation and a cowardly act that threatens the security, safety and lives of civilians and travelers. It is a war crime that requires taking all necessary measures to protect civilian objects from the threats of the Houthis.”

The UAE has renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom over these subversive terrorist attacks and reiterated its stand against all threats to the Kingdom’s security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The statement emphasised that the security of the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and that any threat facing the Kingdom is considered by the Emirates a threat to its security and stability.

UAE Ambassador meets Romanian Secretary of State for Global Affairs and Diplomatic Strategies

Dr. Ahmed Abdullah bin Saeed Al Matrooshi, UAE Ambassador to Romania, has met with Cornel Feruta, Secretary of State for Global Affairs and Diplomatic Strategies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, to discuss a number of issues of common interest.

During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital Bucharest, the parties discussed ways to further boost ties across several areas.

In this regard, the two sides highlighted that cooperation between the UAE and Romania is characterised by mutual trust and support based on the common interests and values of the two friendly countries.

UAE President confers Medal of Independence on Ambassador of Korea

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the Medal of Independence of the First Order on Kwon Yongwoo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the UAE, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the country, and in recognition of his contributions to enhancing UAE-Korea relations.

Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, presented the medal to the Korean Ambassador during their meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi.

Al Sayegh wished the Ambassador success in his future endeavours, and commended the bilateral relations between the UAE and Korea.

For his part, Kwon Yongwoo expressed his thanks and appreciation to the UAE President, praising his wise leadership approach. He also extended his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, as well as all the UAE government entities for the cooperation they showed him, commending their role in strengthening relations between their countries.
