Russian army liberates two new towns, destroys Ukrainian drone manufacturing workshops


Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced that its armed forces had strengthened their positions, thwarted attacks by Kiev regime forces, liberated two new towns, destroyed Ukrainian armored vehicles and ammunition depots, and downed 31 drones on various combat fronts during the past 24 hours.

Russian Forces defeated formations of Kiev troops in several areas, and repelled three attacks during which the aUkrainian forces lost about 120 soldiers, three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, two rocket launchers and seven field missiles were destroyed, the Ministry said in a statement.

The statement added the Russian forces liberated the towns of Ostroye and Grigorovka, defeated military formations of the Ukrainian regime in the popular positions of Donetsk, costing them about 835 soldiers, seven military vehicles, eight cannons, and destroyed an electronic warfare station, a radar station, and seven ammunition depots.

The ministry reported that the strikes of Russian operational-tactical aviation, unm
anned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery resulted in the destruction of the Ukrainian forces’ radio communications center, production workshops and a warehouse of unmanned aerial vehicles, in addition to gatherings of Kiev regime forces in 153 areas.

Air defense systems also shot down 14 HIMARS and Vampire missiles and 31 drones.

More dead as occupation aircraft bombardment of various areas in Gaza Strip


Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Ten Palestinians had been killed in shelling the Israeli occupation of various areas in Gaza strip.

Palestinian media reported that the Israeli airstrikes bombed Khirbet al-Adas area and al-Nasr town north of Rafah, al-Fukhari town east of Khan Yunis.

Media reports also, indicated that Israeli raids targeted the Nuseirat refugee camp central Gaza strip that led to martyrdom to 10 Palestinians including a woman and her four children.

Meanwhile, occupation forces’ gunboats opened fire towards the western areas of Gaza Strip.

On Tuesday, 53 Palestinians were killed as a result of the genocidal crimes committed by the occupation in Gaza, as the number of martyrs since the beginning of the aggression on October 7th has risen to 41,467 martyrs and 95,921 wounded, most of whom are children and women.

Bahrain All Share Index closes lower, Islamic Index closes higher


Manama, Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,018.96 points, marking a decrease of 6.27 points below the previous closing.

This decrease was due to the drop in the financial sector, the materials sector and the consumer staples sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 807.26 points, marking an increase of 0.14 points above the previous closing.

Results indicated that 40 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,176,566 worth BD 313,357.

Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 44.42% of the total value of securities traded.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in Joint Ministerial Meetings GCC- U.S.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated today in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the United States. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

The meeting explored ways to strengthen the partnership and cooperation between the GCC and the U.S. It also addressed bilateral and regional issues of common interest, with the current situations in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon being a primary focus.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the U.S., Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and several officials.

Syrian youth football team beats Bhutan 1-0


Hanoi, SANA- Syrian U-20 football team defeated its Bhutanese counterpart by 1-0 in the second round of the AFC U-20 Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers, held at Lach Tray Stadium in Hai Phong, Vietnam.

Footballer Ahmad Kalu, scored the only goal in the 68th minute of the second -half.

Our national team won its first match against Bangladesh 4-0, and will face Guam team on Friday and Vietnam on Sunday.

OIC, King Salman Arabic Academy to Hold Symposium on ‘Culture of Islamic Peoples’

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) General Secretariat, represented by the Department of Cultural Affairs, will hold a virtual symposium Thursday titled the ‘Culture of Islamic Peoples and the Arabic Language.”

The symposium will be held in cooperation with the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL).

Holding the symposium comes in implementation of the resolution issued by the 50th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers, which took place August 29-30 in Yaoundé, Republic of Cameroon, regarding the support, promotion, preservation, consolidation, and dissemination of the Arabic language.

It aims to focus on the realization of studies, research, and linguistic references related to the Arabic language, as well as the cultural identity components of Islamic countries.

It also seeks to support the presence of the Arabic language locally and internationally through cultural events.

Lebanese resistance targets Israeli Mossad HQ in Tel Aviv with ballistic missile


Beirut, SANA- The Lebanese resistance announced on Wednesday that it targeted the command headquarters of the Israeli Mossad in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, with ballistic missile ‘Qader-1,’.

The resistance said in a statement: In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in support of their valiant resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the resistance launched a ballistic missile ‘Qader-1,’ targeting the Mossad headquarters in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, this headquarters is responsible for the assassination of leaders and the explosion of pagers and wireless devices.

In another statement, the resistance said that its fighters targeted the ‘Ilania’ base in northern occupied Palestine with a salvo of Fadi 1 missiles.

These operations come in response to the massacres committed by Israeli enemy over the past days against innocent Lebanese civilians, which resulted in hundreds of martyrs and wounded.

On its final day, Int’l Oral History Conference focuses on Arab experience in documentation and history


Muscat, SANA- International Conference on Oral History held in Muscat, continued its 3rd and final day, as the lectures are entitled ‘Future Axis’, ‘Prospects of Arab Experience in Oral History’.

The 1st session of lectures addresses the topics of oral history as a source of information in historical studies, in addition to the mechanisms for issuing an Arabic journal in oral history, both authored and translated.

While, the 2nd and last session of the lectures discusses future visions for oral history in Arab experience.

It is noteworthy that in conjunction with the lectures of the 1st session, Special Advisor at the Republic Presidency, Bouthaina Shaaban will deliver a lecture at Omani Foreign Affairs Ministry entitled ‘Where is our region and the world as a whole heading and why?’.

Occupation forces arrest dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank


Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-The Israeli occupation forces arrested dozens of Palestinians on Wednesday at dawn during their raids in various areas of the West Bank.

Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces arrested 27 Palestinians during their raids in the cities of Hebron and Tulkarm, Deheishe refugee camp, the town of al-Khader south of Bethlehem, the villages of Beit Furik, Salem, and Asira north of Nablus, the towns of Kafl Haris, Iskaka, and Burqin in the city of Salfit, and the village of Qibya west of Ramallah, as well as the occupation forces stormed and searched Palestinian homes, and closed the entrances to the villages and towns with earth mounds and cement barriers, and prevented the students from reaching their schools.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested 14 Palestinians on Tuesday in different areas of the West Bank.
