4 people were arrested. Police raided a drug trafficking den in Bethlehem

This afternoon, the police raided a den used for drug trade and promotion in one of the governorate’s areas and arrested 4 drug dealers and dealers inside it.

The Police Public Relations and Media Department stated that, based on information available to the Anti-Narcotics Branch of the Governorate Police, there were a number of drug dealers and dealers inside one of the dens, which is a shop selling vehicle parts in one of the governorate’s areas near the tunnel checkpoint in the city of Beit Jala.

A force from the branch moved at the head of a force from the governorate police after obtaining an inspection report from the Public Prosecution for the site.

During the raid on the den, 4 people were arrested and a quantity of narcotic substances, sums of money, cell phones, and electronic devices were seized, in addition to two illegal vehicles. One of those arrested was a person wanted by justice for two years and a judicial warrant was issued against him.

The police call on citizens to report the promoters and dealers of these substances and their users, and confirm that they will pursue everyone who deals with such substances and hold them legally accountable
