(4794) Agricultural consignments checked, (22) consignments destroyed

Last October, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Agricultural Quarantine Offices of the Agricultural Affairs Department, checked (4,794) consignments weighing (171,384) tons including various types of imported agricultural consignments (plant consignments, products, production components), at all customs outlets of the state.

(22) Consignments weighing (55.38) tons have been destroyed for violation of the Agricultural Quarantine Law as they were significantly affected by quarantine or non-quarantine pests.
