As part of the implementation of the Waste Sorting Program from the source, the General Cleanness Department has begun to implement the fourth phase of the program in all buildings of the Ministry of Municipality, where (32) external containers and(200) internal containers were distributed to these buildings from (26-29) September 2022.
During the distribution of containers, the awareness team of the General Cleanness Department sensitized the Ministry’s employees and the workers of the cleaning companies in the Ministry’s buildings to the importance of sorting waste from the source and cooperating to lead such program to success. Such matter shall contribute to the recycling and reduction of waste, in order to preserve public health and the safety of the environment.
