The Shura Council Secretariat General received a staff delegation from the US Senate and House of Representatives.
The delegation was briefed on the legislative authority in Bahrain, and the development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Dr. Fawzia Al Jeeb, Advisor to the Chairman of the Shura Council, affirmed the importance of these visits for the exchange of expertise.
She gave a presentation including an overview of Bahrain’s legislative authority, its powers, committees, achievements, and coordination mechanisms between the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
