Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, has participated in an international seminar on police work in cyberspace.
He noted that the event reviewed the experiments, equipment, modern technological means, and developed smart solutions specialized in maintaining security and public order and combating crime.
Dr. Shaikh Hamad said that the seminar highlighted topics related to the use of technology and artificial intelligence in the security field, and activating its role in combating crime and cybercrime.
The event discussed different organisational methods and the extent of their impact on police capabilities and a review of how to uncover technologies for the smart future, in addition to how to protect infrastructure through artificial intelligence and benefit from advanced technology.
On the sideline of the seminar, the deputy chief of public security met the Hong Kong Police Chief, where they reviewed cooperation and coordination.
