Evacuated from Sudan, 20 Saudis, 1866 Nationals from Several Countries Arrive in Jeddah

In continuation of the evacuation efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the directives of the Kingdom’s Leadership, several evacuees arrived from the Republic of Sudan to the city of Jeddah today by a Kingdom’s ship. The arrivals are 20 Saudi citizens and approximately 1866 individuals of the following nationalities: (Thailand, Australia, Rwanda, Gambia, Eritrea, Malawi, Macedonia, France, India, Norway, Palestine, Yemen, United States of America, Syria, Philippines, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Sweden, Kenya, Tunisia, Iraq, Libya, Morocco, Jordan, Mauritania, Tanzania, Iran, Pakistan, Canada, Russia, Panama, Ecuador, Ireland, Greece, Vietnam, Nepal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Sudan, Somalia, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Myanmar, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Türkiye, Italy, Ethiopia, Chad, Germany, South Africa, Uganda, Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Benin, the Netherlands, Egypt, Sudan, Mauritius, Romania, and a number of United Nations staff). The Kingdom worked to provide all the necessary needs of foreign nationals in preparation for facilitating their departures to their countries. This brings the total number of evacuees from Sudan since the evacuations began to approximately 4879 persons; 139 Saudi citizens and 4738 individuals from 96 nationalities.
