Doha, August 29 (QNA) – HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani will head tomorrow, Thursday, to the Islamic Republic of Iran to participate in the 16th session of the Non-Aligned Movement NAM Summit, due to open in the Iranian capital, Tehran, tomorrow and continue for two days. HH the Emir will be accompanied by a high-level official delegation including HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies ministers.(QNA)

Saudi non-oil exports down by 9.1% in November

Riyadh, Rabi’II 24, 1438, Jan 22, 2017, SPA — The value of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports has decreased in November 2016 by 9.1% to SR 14397 million compared to SR 15842 million in November 2015, while they decreased in comparison to October 2016 by 3.9% or about SR 592 million.
The General Authority for Statistics showed in its latest report released today that the value of the Kingdom’s imports in November 2016 amounted to SR 39757 million compared to SR 51139 million, down by 22.3% compared to November 2015.
Non-oil exports stood at SR 14397 million by 36.21% of the total value of imports during this period compared to 30.98% during the previous year.
