H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, Minister of Municipality, has confirmed the full readiness for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which comes as the fruitful of the ambitious vision of the wise leadership and its vigorous follow-up to set the plans and harness all the capabilities.
In an interview on Friday evening with the beIN SPORTS channel, H.E. the Minister stated: We are ready to organize an exceptional version of the most essential sports tournaments which is followed by billions of fans, audiences, visitors and viewers around the world. We are eagerly anticipating to put the name of Qatar high and influence the world with a positive impact.
In his speech, the Minister declared that since the announcement of the State of Qatar’s victory to host the World Cup so far, there has been an increase in green spaces in the State of Qatar during the past years. The number of public parks in the State has been increased by 250%, as it has multiplied from 56 in 2010 to 148 during the current year. Large areas in neighborhoods and new residential cities have been covered with parks and green spaces.
