His Excellency Ahmed Al Sayegh, Minister of State, received His Excellency Ilya Darkiashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, today at the General Court of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi, and discussed with him a number of files of common interest.
During the meeting with His Excellency Darkiashvili, His Excellency Al Sayegh praised the fruitful meeting that brought together His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, with His Excellency Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, who is on a working visit to the country.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Georgia and opportunities to develop them in the investment, commercial and economic fields, and expressed their aspiration that the coming period would witness more cooperation between the two friendly countries.
