Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani met Sunday with Sudanese Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. Anan Hamid Mohammed Omar, who is visiting Iraq.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in the security field. Also, they reviewed exchanging experiences to curb drug trafficking and combat terrorism and improve the security capabilities of the police forces in both countries.
Earlier Sunday, Iraqi Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al Shammari had discussed with his Sudanese counterpart strengthening the joint security effort in combating terrorism, especially in light of Iraq’s experiences in fighting ISIS.
