The ministry of Municipality, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, executed a joint inspection campaign led to the seizure of a violating food storage warehouse in Birkat Al Awamer area.
Information were received regarding a company storing and re-packing expired food materials, as well as hiring a group of residency violators. The coordination was made between the Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Municipal Sector, the Search and Follow-up Department in the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Rescue Police Department (Al-Fazaa) of the Ministry of Interior. Upon entering the location, the officials seized expired food materials, packaging equipment and a group of residency violators, and legal procedures were pursued by the competent authorities in this regard.
