The Jordanian government welcomed the UN announcement that oil from the Safer reservoir in the Red Sea has been safely unloaded.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed appreciation for the efforts of the UN and of donor countries, which ensured the financial support necessary to complete this operation, thus avoiding an environmental disaster in the Red Sea, citing the support provided by Yemeni authorities to facilitate this operation.
