Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Labor Minister received Rethesree Wigertney Mendes, Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain.
The minister praised the Bahraini- Sri Lankan ties.
The meeting reviewed labor sector and exchange of expertise in human resources development and to enhance social protection for workers.
The minister highlighted Bahrain’s ongoing commitment to develop the labor market according to International Labor Organization (ILO) standards.
The ambassador commended the level of bilateral cooperation, and expressed appreciation for ensuring the wellbeing of the Sri Lankan community in Bahrain.
