The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) represented by Digital Society Development Department has announced that the application for admission to the second class of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Training Program is now open. It’s one of the specialized technical programs that aims to train and graduate Qatari competencies in the field of information technology, and to manage and implement the e-government.
The program aims to provide specialized technical support for government entities by building highly qualified leadership and administrative capacities, and boosting professionalism in ICT, so that they could become part of the digital transformation process in Qatar.
The program supports the implementation of Qatar’s 2020 digital strategy by developing and promoting participation in key national strategic projects, adopting open government policy, as well as measuring performance and innovation for e-government.
The Ministry invites all CTOs at government entities and private sector to apply for admission. Applications for registration are received until Monday 31 Dec. via the email address GDQtraining@motc.gov.qa.
