Minister of Islamic Affairs Announces Success of Dispatching 4,591 Pilgrims of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program from Makkah to Holy Sites

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, also the General Supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Al Al-Sheikh, has recently declared the successful implementation of the ministry’s plans in sending and welcoming 4,951 pilgrims from 92 countries, as a part of the holy sites tour. During the trip, the pilgrims had the chance to spend the day of perfusion (day of al-Tarwiyah) and later visit Arafat to carry out the significant act of pilgrimage. Comprehensive services supervised by all committees working on the program were provided to support the pilgrimage.

In a press release, the minister expressed his gratitude towards the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, praising their eagerness to assist the pilgrims and ensure they fulfill the Hajj ritual in a spiritually uplifting environment. He mentioned the Kingdom’s committed efforts to ensure the pilgrims’ safety and peace of mind while undertaking the pilgrimage rituals.

The minister emphasized the ministry’s human solid resources mobilization to provide a diverse range of top-quality services to pilgrims since their arrival in the country. Furthermore, he stressed the execution of dispatching the pilgrims in under an hour according to the ministry’s well-planned schedule.
