Damascus Countryside, SANA- Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), Mohamed Bin Obaid Al Mazrooei, and the accompanying delegation discussed with Director General of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands “ACSAD”, Dr. Nasr al-Din Al-Obaid, relations of cooperation in a way that achieves the goals of sustainable agricultural development, in addition to opportunities for establishing new agricultural projects in Syria.
Al Mazrooei, during the meeting, which was held at ACSAD headquarters, expressed the Authority’s aspiration to cooperate with the Center to benefit from outcomes and researches that the center has reached, and the development of work which provides opportunities to create investment projects in the agricultural sector to serve the Syrian people.
Expressing aspiration on expanding investment, the AAAID Chairman stressed that they are searching for new opportunities and projects for the agricultural sector in manufacturing and animal production in cooperation with ACSAD.
He added that his authority will discuss with the Syrian concerned officials all opportunities support and facilitations to carry out new projects in the future.
For his part, Al-Obaid, expressed ACSAD’s readiness to put all its potentials and expertise in serving the programs and projects of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development to meet its aspirations and future plans for the development of the agricultural sector in all Arab countries.
