Gaza, – Israeli occupation naval boats on Tuesday opened machine gunfire on Palestinian fishing boats offshore the city of Gaza, causing damages to at least one boat.
According to Palestine News Agency (WAFA), Israeli warships attacked fishing boats offshore al-Sudaniyya area to the northwest of Gaza city, about four nautical miles away, pursued them and opened fire at them.
Yesterday, a fisherman was shot by the Israeli navy in the same area while he was fishing. He was taken to Shifa Hospital in the city.
The occupation navy continues to deliberately target Palestinian fishermen on daily basis, preventing them from fishing. (QNA)
