Makkah, President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais praised the “Hajj is Worship and Civilized Behavior” campaign launched by Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz under the theme “No Hajj Without a Permit”.
The campaign, in its 16th edition, aims to raise awareness about the regulations and instructions that ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims, in accordance with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al-Sudais stressed that the “No Hajj without a Permit” campaign is rooted in the Sharia texts, and ensures the comfort of pilgrims by taking into account their conditions of capabilities.
The campaign complies with the Sharia principles, has benefits and prevents harm, he said, adding that the campaign was initiated for the safety and comfort
of pilgrims, and urging everybody to support it and cooperate with the concerned authorities.
