Qatar’s embassies and consulates abroad celebrate National Day

The diplomatic, consular and representative missions of the State of Qatar abroad celebrated the National Day of the State, which falls on December 18, in commemoration of the founder of the state, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, (may God rest his soul) under the slogan: The ancestral farms are trustworthy.

Their Excellencies, heads of diplomatic, consular and representative missions of the State of Qatar abroad, extended their warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and all the Qatari people on this dear occasion, wishing Qatar has more progress and prosperity.

The Qatari diplomatic celebrations in the capitals and cities of the world received high-level official and popular participation, which reflected Qatar’s distinguished relations with the countries of the world.

In Riyadh, His Excellency Mr. Bandar bin Muhammad Al-Attiyah, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held a party on the occasion of the National Day of the State, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Acting Governor of Riyadh.

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al Kubaisi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Sudan, stressed in his speech that the Qatari-Sudanese relations were and still are strong and extended in all fields, which lays the foundations for further progress and prosperity, reiterating the State of Qatar’s full support for Sudan at this stage. In Istanbul, the Consulate General of the State of Qatar held a celebration on the occasion of the National Day of the State.

The ceremony was attended by HE the Consul General of the State of Qatar in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey, His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Sada, diplomats at the Consulate, and a number of officials and dignitaries.

In Karachi, the Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Karachi, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, held a ceremony on the occasion of the National Day of the State.
