The efforts of the General Cleanness Department at the Public Services Affairs Sector resulted in removing about 14.695 tons of waste from all municipalities including household and solid waste during the Feast of Sacrifice Holiday.
a 9832.54 tons of household waste and 4862.6 tons of solid waste were removed from all municipalities. In addition 664, cleaning cars and 2723 workers were provided for cleaning operations around the clock. Moreover, the department cleaned 158 feast prayer places all over the country, provided 73 new waste containers at the sites of the feast prayers, and washed 5904 containers. All the public beaches in the State that increased in demand during the feast were cleaned.
