Saudi Embassy in France Celebrates 94th National Day


The Saudi embassy in the French Republic, in cooperation with the Kingdom’s permanent delegation to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, hosted a reception on the occasion of the 94th Saudi National Day.

The event was attended by a large number of French officials, ambassadors, diplomats, parliamentarians, businesspeople, intellectuals, and media representatives.

In a speech delivered on the occasion, the Saudi ambassador to France and Monaco and the designated permanent representative to UNESCO, Ambassador Fahd bin Mayouf Al-Ruwaili, highlighted the Kingdom’s ongoing renaissance and development in various fields under the Saudi Vision 2030.

He also noted the Kingdom’s efforts to achieve security and peace at both the regional and international levels.

He highlighted the significant development in Saudi-French relations and their progress toward a strategic partnership across various frameworks.

Meanwhile, French Minister Delegate to the Minister for Eu
rope and Foreign Affairs for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad Sophie Primas praised the Kingdom’s remarkable modern renaissance.

She highlighted the continuous development of relations between the two countries and the building of partnerships in various fields.

She also expressed France’s aspiration to further strengthen and expand these relations in a way that serves the interests of both nations and their friendly peoples.

The reception featured Saudi coffee, traditional dishes, and national melodies. Additionally, Saudi craftsmen and craftswomen participated, offering guests insights into Al-Sadu weaving, Arabic calligraphy, and falconry.
