TEHRAN, IRAN, Team Qatar confidently defeated their Omani opponents 3-0 on Tuesday in the clash for places from 9-12 at the prestigious Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship taking place in Iran’s capital of Tehran.
Team Qatar made impressive performance in Tuesday’s match to secure deserving victory over Oman (25-18,25-20 and 25-16) on Tuesday.
16 teams are competing in this top-flight competition to vie for the top honour, with top 8 teams, except Tokyo 2020 hosts Japan, eligible for the AVC Men’s Continental Olympic Qualification Tournament in Jiangmen, China from January 7 to 12.
