University of Bahrain (UoB) President Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al Mudhahki received Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Ni Ruchi, as the United Nations celebrated the UN Chinese Language Day, which falls annually on April 20.<\/P>

During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation and cultural exchanges between the University of Bahrain and Shanghai University.<\/P>
<\/P>
Dr. Al-Mudhahki stressed the importance of educational cooperation and cultural communication between the two universities, as part of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.<\/P>

The meeting also highlighted the efforts of the Confucius Institute at the University of Bahrain in facilitating cultural exchanges, offering Chinese language courses, and sponsoring various cultural activities.<\/P>
