7,000 Palestinian Pilgrims Perform Hajj This Year


Makkah: Palestinian Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Hussam Abu al-Rub met with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mutawifs of Arabs Hajj Company (Ashraqat) Muhammad Maajini, during his visit to the company’s headquarters in Makkah.

The two officials discussed the Hajj plans implemented this season to serve some 7,000 Palestinian pilgrims, the itinerary of pilgrims from Makkah to the holy sites and back during Hajj, as well as the preparations for all services that facilitate Hajj for Palestinian pilgrims.

Abu al-Rub praised the tremendous efforts made by the Saudi government to facilitate and ensure the comfort of pilgrims through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and all the other agencies involved in Hajj.

He expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the Royal gesture of hosting 2,000 Palestinian pilgrims, including 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims members of families of martyrs and injured individuals from Gaza Strip.
