Apple has launched an iPhone Mirroring feature, for developers testing iOS 18 beta versions in iPhone and macOS Sequoia in Mac.

This feature allows users to stream the iPhone screen directly to Mac, providing an integrated experience that allows iPhone apps to be managed and operated in Mac devices, as well as seamlessly transferring files between phones and computers.

Apple announced the iPhone Mirroring feature for the first time during the recent Developers Conference, which contributes to enhancing the interaction between Mac and iPhone apps, as explained by Apple during the presentation at the conference.

The feature provides users with the ability to run their iPhone apps directly on their Mac without the need to unlock the phone, and iPhone desktop notifications on Mac computers, as well as the ability to respond to alerts from various apps.

Users can easily share an iPhone screen with others through Mac computers for video calls or presentations.

In terms of security, the actual iPhone remains lo
cked when you use the iPhone reflection feature on your Mac, preventing anyone from accessing the phone without their owner’s permission, even if left elsewhere.

General beta versions of users wishing to try out new features are due to be launched shortly, while final versions of these systems will be released in the autumn of this year to all users.
