Makkah: The General Directorate of Civil Defense has held a ceremony at King Abdulaziz Historical Hall in Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah to honor the volunteers who participated in its operations during the Hajj season 1445 AH in the presence of Acting Director General of Civil Defense Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj.
During the event, Major General Dr. Al-Faraj expressed appreciation and gratitude to the volunteers for their contributions to achieving the goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in the field of volunteer work during this year’s Hajj season. The volunteers provided first aid services, guided pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and assisted with evacuation, rescue, and risk management.
