Makkah: The Ministry of Commerce’s Makkah branch conducted thorough inspections of over 37 million supply items for pilgrims in the Mina area during the days of Tashreeq.
This intensive effort is part of the ministry’s comprehensive plan for this year’s Hajj season. Dedicated field teams continue to monitor the supply situation across the holy sites. They inspect sales outlets and ensure the availability of essential goods pilgrims require, in collaboration with other agencies involved in organizing the Hajj season.
The branch supervises supply chains to maintain smooth operations and exercises regulatory oversight over commercial establishments, sales outlets, and stalls in the holy sites and Makkah to ensure their compliance with consumer protection regulations and to detect any commercial violations.
