Farewell Tawaf made easier for Pilgrims in a Hurry

Makkah, The Presidency of Religious Affairs for the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia has announced the successful execution of its plan to streamline the Farewell Tawaf for pilgrims who are in a hurry.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the presidency mobilised its resources, capabilities, and personnel, including religious staff and volunteers, as well as leveraging technology, digital platforms, and smart robots, to manage the crowds and ensure a smooth Tawaf. This plan was part of the presidency’s comprehensive strategy for the Hajj season of 1445 AH, aimed at enriching the religious experience of hasty pilgrims and managing the peak influx to the Grand Mosque after the stoning of the Jamarat on the 12th day of Dhul Hijjah, the final ritual of Hajj.

The presidency also launched several innovative initiatives and religious activities in the third phase of their plan, catering to the millions of pilgrims flocking to the Grand Mosque to complete their Farewell Tawaf.
