Film Commission Holds 7 Filmmaker Training Workshops in Tabuk

Tabuk: The Film Commission organized seven training workshops in Tabuk as part of the “Filmmakers Program” yesterday, with the participation of a group of international experts and specialists at the University of Tabuk. The program included specialized workshops in cinematography skills, precise focus of the cinema lens, cinema lighting, lighting equipment and camera movement (GRIP), costume design, special tools, cinema costume design, and the art of cinema makeup.

The Film Commission launched the fourth edition of the Filmmakers Program at the beginning of January 2024 to enhance Saudi talents in the film industry. In this edition, the commission aims to double the number of trainees interested in the film industry, from beginners to professionals, through the implementation of training workshops that are held in all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both on-site and virtually, to provide learning opportunities and raise awareness about the film industry’s future.
